The built environment accounts for more than 45% of carbon emissions worldwide. Global awareness of the catastrophic impacts of climate change is the dominant issue driving innovation in the search for greater productivity and efficiency worldwide. Today the race is on to accelerate the transformation of the global property industry towards sustainability through the adoption of environmentally and socially responsible building practices worldwide. The search for integrated innovative sustainable solutions can only be achieved by adopting an approach which crosses national and professional boundaries. By bringing together all stakeholders across the supply chain in an international exchange of information and expertise BEX enables a collaborative action in tackling these problems.

BEX is an action oriented forum which places business meetings and not power-point presentations at its heart.
