Befimmo (BEFB) has voluntary applied for its shares to be delisted from NYSE Euronext Paris (ISIN code: BE0003678894), mainly on account of the costs associated with keeping a dual listing.
The Board of Directors of NYSE Euronext Paris approved the application for delisting on February 16, 2011 and notified Befimmo that the delisting of its stock from Euronext Paris would be effective on February 22, 2011. The last day of trading on NYSE Euronext Paris will therefore be February 21, 2011.
The Befimmo shares remain listed on NYSE Euronext Brussels and registered to Euroclear Belgium.
The delisting of the stock on NYSE Euronext Paris has no impact on Befimmo's strategy or activities, as it will still have the opportunity to develop business in France by opting for the French fiscal status of 'Sociétés d'Investissement Immobilier Cotées' (Listed Real-Estate Investment Company - SIIC), as this status is no longer restricted to companies listed in Paris.
