The construction and dredging group Ballast Nedam has decided to withdraw over time from its present position in the United Kingdom market. The re-organisation of the other international activities will be further accelerated.
The scope and pace of these measures are presently subject to an in depth analysis. The additional costs and provisions, which are a consequence of these measures depend on the strategic choices to be made. At the publication of the half year figures on July 12th further information will be provided.
