AXA Investment Managers funds get AA rating (UK)

AXA Investment Managers (AXA IM) announces its European Growth, AXA Pacific Growth, AXA American Growth and AXA Global Growth funds have been awarded 'AA' ratings by Standard & Poor's (S&P).

All five of AXA IM's overseas retail funds managed by AXA Rosenberg are now rated 'AA'. The AXA Japan Growth Fund was awarded an 'AA' rating by S&P earlie r this year.

S&P's Fund Management Ratings a re based on an evaluation of quantitative (historic performance, volatility, and portfolio construction) and qualitative (management, corporate status, and investment process) factors that contribute to long-term performance.

AXA Rosenberg manages regional and global equity portfolios based on the economic rationale that a company's future earnings prospects will determine its long-term performance. As such, they have developed an innovative, globallyconsistent approach to valuing a company and its future earnings that has delivered alpha across markets and across time.

Commenting on the achievements, Simon Ellis, Head of UK Retail at AXA IM said: "AXA IM is delighted with the news. These awards are recognition of AXA Rosenberg's rigorous and repeated process, which has been producing consistently good results for AXA IM funds."

AXA Rosenberg now has 14 offshore funds available in the UK with S&P ratings of 'AA' or higher. I cannot think of another house that has so many of its funds so highly rated by the prestigious S&P process."
