Great success for avm mfi partners in Turkey: The 212 Power Outlet Center in Istanbul opened its doors on Saturday 15 August. avm mfi partners has taken over the center management and they are also in charge of letting. This is the second management project in Istanbul for the German-Turkish joint venture.
212 Istanbul has a lettable area of 67,380 m² on four levels with 170 stores. avm mfi partners was able to score a special letting coup: The 212 is the first center in which Carrefour, Media Markt and Praktiker are united under one roof.Other major brands with their own shops include Deichmann, Diesel, Sony, Pierre Cardin, Adidas and D&R. Visitors to the 212 can relax in a large food court, which also accommodates 6 large restaurants in addition to the well-known gastronomy concepts.
The 212 also has a multiplex cinema with 9 screens on more than 3,500 m². And because the center is located in a very new district of Istanbul, a 3,000 m² play area for children was included.
With this mix of shops, lifestyle and entertainment, the 212 Power Outlet Center will become a new highlight in the dense shopping center landscape of Istanbul. Semet Yolac-Caniel, divisional manager of center management at avm mfi partners, is sure of this. The company is expecting up to 35,000 visitors on week days and up to 50,000 at the weekends.
