Aviva Investors has started the speculative development of a logistics warehouse in the north of Rotterdam on behalf of one of its clients, which it expects to be completed in the second quarter of 2021. Designed by Heembouw Architecten and located in the Business Park Oudeland – Berkel en Rodenrijs, the warehouse covers approximately 20,300m² of lettable space and benefits from connectivity to local and international distribution hubs, including nearby Rotterdam airport and harbour. It will aim to achieve a BREEAM Very Good rating upon completion.
