AVENUE has acquired a 69,000m² site in Lisbon, Portugal, to develop the EXEO Office Campus, a €150m office scheme composed of three buildings – Aura, Echo, and Lumina. The site is located in Parque das Nacoes, next to the Lisbon Oriente Station, and benefits from a great transport and service infrastructure, providing an excellent strategic position for companies interested in the area. The purchase price has not been disclosed. Savills Aguirre Newman advised the vendor on the sale.
Paulo Silva, Head of Country of Savills Portugal, remarks: “This deal was good business for both parties. The land is in great condition, located in a strategic area of Lisbon where the real estate market is eager for offices, as revealed by the availability of spaces, which is currently less than 3%.”
According to Aniceto Viegas, general director of AVENUE: “EXEO Office Campus is AVENUE’s first office project. It is part of our ‘active field diversification strategy for the 2018-2020 period’, and we are convinced that it will be successful, not only because of the elevated market demand but, most of all, because of its innovative characteristics that make it an example of the new generation of offices.”
