Atenor Group announced the sale of the entirety of its shareholding in the Hexaten company, owner of the Nysdam office building located in La Hulpe, to a property Fund managed by AXA Real Estate Investment Managers.
This sale will have a slightly positive impact on the 2006 consolidated accounts of the Group, taking into account the reserves for the rental guarantee built up at this stage.
To review the background, in 2001, through its subsidiary Hexaten, Atenor Group completed the construction of a very luxurious Business Park offering more than 15,000 m² of offices at the prestigious site of the Nysdam park in La Hulpe.
This sale will bring to Atenor Group significant liquid assets that will allow it to continue its strategy, refocusing on property promotion. For this reason, Atenor Group is currently pursuing the development, in Brussels and in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, of several projects representing a total on the order of 185,000 m².
Atenor Group will publish its half-year results in the financial press on 23 September 2006; these results will also be available on the Internet site www.atenor.be.
