Asendia Holding AG increases its presence at SEGRO’s Heathrow Estate (UK)

SEGRO, announced today that Asendia Holding AG has taken an additional two units at The Heathrow Estate and will now occupy four adjacent units, totaling ca. 70,000 ft² (approx. 6,500 m²).


Asendia is a joint venture, formed in July 2012, between two of the world’s leading postal operators, Swiss Post and La Poste.  Swiss Post previously occupied two of these four units, totaling ca. 42,000 ft² (approx. 3,900 m²), and now a further 28,000 ft² (approx. 2,600 m²) has been leased.  The expansion at Heathrow is part of Asendia’s strategy is develop and grow its cross-border mail business, focusing on direct marketing, catalogues and the delivery of small goods.


The Heathrow Estate is an excellent location from where Asendia can fulfill and distribute its international mail and parcel orders, given its close proximity to the airport and its direct and easy access to Central London and other locations via the main arterial roads (A30, A312 and A4) and the UK’s motorway network.
