AMF Fastigheter celebrates Mood Stockholm's outstanding 650,000 visitors in first two months (SE)

The owner and developer of MOOD Stockholm, AMF Fastigheter, revealed that the new retail destination in Stockholm city center attracted an extraordinary 655,300 visitors during its first two months of trading. MOOD Stockholm opened to the public on March 23, 2012. AMF Fastigheter is one of Sweden's largest property investment and development companies.

Karolin Forsling, Head of Retail at AMF Fastigheter commented: "AMF Fastigheter is extremely pleased with the fantastic interest in MOOD Stockholm and couldn't have imagined a better start for this unique retail experience. The great turnout demonstrates how well MOOD Stockholm caters for the needs of those who work, live and visit the Swedish capital and we are confident that the level of interest in the center will remain strong".

MOOD Stockholm offers around 60 shops over three levels in the city center areas of Norrlandsgatan and Regeringsgatan. The city's new retail destination introduces an entirely new concept called Beyond Shopping - a three-zone shopping experience over 112,000 ft² (approx 10,405 m²) of stores – a combination of well-known, established international and Swedish brands with new, contemporary concepts, all set in an inspiring environment. The scheme also boasts the very best food from Sweden's three top chefs to add an exceptional food offer at the scheme.

MOOD Stockholm plays a central role in AMF Fastigheter's real-estate portfolio, and an investment strategy to deliver quality retail properties in the City of Stockholm. The developer takes a long-term approach to its investments. The company manages its entire commercial property portfolio in-house.
