AMB Property Europe B.V., an affiliate of AMB Property Corporation®, has announced the contribution of a 38,500-m² distribution facility, AMB Altenwerder Distribution Center, to AMB Europe Fund, FCP-FIS. The facility is fully leased to Unisped and B2B International Network AG.

"AMB currently has a portfolio totaling more than 170,000 m² at the Port of Hamburg, an important target market for AMB and our Europe fund," said Arthur Tielens, AMB's senior vice president, fund manager, Europe. "We are pleased with the contribution of this modern, high-quality facility and continue to look for opportunities to further increase our presence in the port." The proximity of the facility to the Container Terminal Altenwerder, accommodating large container ships, the Altenwerder rail spurs and the A7 motorway ensures efficient multi-modal access to its customers.
AMB's portfolio of operating and development properties in Germany totals approximately 210,000 m². Its Europe portfolio currently consists of approximately 1,150,000 m² of logistics and distribution properties, both operating and under developmentin ten markets in the countries of Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Spain, serving customers in the air express, logistics and freight forwarding industries.
