AMB Property Europe B.V. has announced it has fully leased the 13,800-m² distribution facility called AMB Douglassingel Distribution Center. The building was developed by AMB proximate to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol where the company's portfolio totals more than 155,000 m². With this lease, the facility has been stabilized and contributed to the recently formed AMB Europe Fund I, FCP-FIS.

"The AMB Europe Fund I continues to increase its presence at Schiphol, Europe's third largest airport as measured by cargo volume," said Arthur Tielens, AMB's fund manager, Europe. "Increasing our portfolio in this important market is in line with AMB's investment strategy which focuses on airports, seaports and infill locations along the global supply chain."
AMB Douglassingel Distribution Center is situated in Schiphol-Rijk Industrial Park, part of the main distribution area for Amsterdam Airport Schiphol which also includes Schiphol-Zuidoost and Schiphol-Oost. The site has convenient access to the A-4, A-5 and the A-9 highways and is located at the highly visible corner of the Fokkerweg, the Douglassingel and the Koolhovenlaan.
