AM's Management Board strengthened by the appointment of Arnold de Haan (NL)

The Management Board of AM NV (formerly Amstelland MDC) is being expanded. The Supervisory Board is proposing Mr A.L. (Arnold) de Haan for appointment to the Management Board. The proposal will be made during the General Meeting of Shareholders on 12 May.

During his career, Arnold de Haan (50) has held several management positions in the property sector and has considerable international experience. Until March this year he was managing director of Commerz Grundbesitz Gesellschaft mbH (CGG), parent company of Commerz Grundbesitz-Investment Gesellschaft mbH (CGI) and Commerz Grundbesitz-Specialfonds Gesellschaft mbH (CGS). CGI is the asset manager of Hausinvest, the largest property fund in Europe. CGG is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Commerzbank in Germany. He has worked for Commerz Grundbesitz Gesellschaft since 1994.

Arnold de Haan's earlier positions were director and joint owner of European Metropolitan Property Services, managing director of Vaste Waarden Nederland and deputy-director of Interned Holding (a subsidiary of Wereldhave).
He holds various other posts: he is chairman of the Supervisory Board of Arcadis Homola AG and a member of the Advisory Board of the Cobra Museum, Amstelveen.
Mr de Haan owns no shares in AM.

Portfolio
Arnold de Haan is the intended successor of J.F.J. (Hans) van Veggel on the Management Board of AM. After a familiarisation period of four to six months, he will take over Hans van Veggel's position as vice chairman of the Management Board and chairman of the board of AM Development (commercial property). After the familiarisation period, Hans van Veggel will stand down from the Management Board and continue working for AM as Chief Creative Officer.
