The AM NV Management Board and Mr A.J.M. (Ton) Beekman, Chief Financial Officer, have come to an amicable agreement that Mr Beekman should end his employment with the company. Mr Beekman’s departure stems from irreconcilable differences with the Board concerning the performance of his job.
Mr Beekman had worked for Multi Development Corporation, the company that merged with Amstelland to form AM (Amstelland MDC) in 2002, since 1990. He had been CFO since 2003.
Mr Beekman’s duties and responsibilities will be performed on an interim basis as from today’s date by Mr E.A. (Bert) de Groot. Mr De Groot (49) has held various positions in financial management with listed companies, including KPN, Randstad and Unisys.
