Altera sells regional Dutch shopping centre

Altera Vastgoed NV has sold the Arendshof II shopping centre in Oosterhout, Netherlands. The property comprises approximately 9,125m² comparison retail space and an indoor parking garage with 562 parking spaces. The shopping centre is currently being leased to H&M, Intertoys, Van Haren Schoenen, D-Reizen, Beter Horen, Hans Anders and various local entrepreneurs. The purchase price was not disclosed. 

 

Erwin Wessels, CIO of Altera, said: “In recent years we have worked with the municipality of Oosterhout and developer Maas-Jacobs on the vision to transform Arendsplein into an inner-city residential environment. This sale to the municipality will enable it to take the next step in the implementation of its vision. Approximately 75% of our portfolio now consists of food and convenience real estate and will grow further in 2021 through buying and selling and asset management activities.”
