Alison Matthews boosts Cushman & Wakefield's sustainability team (UK)

Cushman & Wakefield has appointed Alison Matthews as Sustainability Advisor, based in London.

She joins from Building Research Establishment (BRE), the independent consultancy which helps organizations to reduce the environmental impacts of buildings at all stages, from planning to refurbishment. At BRE, Alison worked as Environmental Markets Consultant from 2008-2011.

Matthews will be developing and implementing commercial sustainability strategies and policies and advising clients on improving performance by reducing costs through efficient energy usage and on mitigating environmental risks. She reports to Andries Van der Walt, EMEA Head of Sustainability.

Andries van der Walt said, "Alison brings valuable experience and joins our team at a time when more and more clients are realizing the impact of sustainability factors on the values of a property and its appeal to occupiers."
