This year, the award was presented by the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Germany for the seventh time to future-oriented, responsibly thinking entrepreneurs. The award ceremony in Frankfurt was hosted by the patroness, Lord Mayor of the City of Frankfurt Petra Roth, at the Emperor's Hall in the 'Römer' city hall.

Alexander Otto is committed like hardly anyone else to sustainability issues and developments within the real estate industry, explained the jury its decision. He promotes the dialogue with cities and is personally involved in many institutes, associations, and organizations.

The jury particularly acknowledged Otto's long-term commitment for ULI in Germany and Europe. He not only established ULI in Germany but also represented the institute internationally as Chairman of ULI Europe in an excellent way. Today, he is still chairing the Advisory Board Europe.

"Alexander Otto is an exceptional leader, who exercises leadership in the best sense not only within the company but also in public," said laudatory Dr. Frank Pörschke, future CEO of Jones Lang LaSalle Germany.
