Centrally-located office and retail property at Boulevard de l'Empereur
The well-visible corner building with an attractive front façade made of natural stone is located right at Boulevard de l'Empereur and runs from Place de la Justice to Place de l'Albertine creating an impressive panorama view.

The property is directly in the middle of Brussels business district which is a home to many important political headquarters as e.g. the European Parliament and the EU Commission, trade unions, the National Bank and several well-known companies. Brussels central station is only approx. 200m away from the property; the Grand Place as well as the Royal Palace can also be reached on foot within only a few minutes.

The representative office building from the 50's was extensively refurbished in 1996. Currently, the total office space undergoes further renovation measures, among other things, in order to achieve environmental efficiency of the building. One of the most famous Belgian law firms LIEDEKERKE rents the entire office and storage space in the building long-term. Seven out of the total eight retail units are rented out to various businesses for several years.

First-class location in the middle of the EU capital
"The Brussels real estate market shows continuous stability since years. For us as a low-risk investor, the purchase of a centrally located office property with a first-rate main tenant represents an acquisition opportunity which we happily accepted." comments Dr. Stephan Hinsche, spokesman of the aik management board.

The real estate investment company from Düsseldorf, which specializes in investments of German pension funds and insurances since 1999, focuses since last year on acquisition of office properties in Brussels and Luxembourg as well as German residential and retail properties.
