aik acquires an office property in Brussels Quartier Léopold (BE)

Düsseldorf's real estate investment company, aik Immobilien-Kapitalanlagegesellschaft (aik), acquired another property in the EU capital. The office building, situated on the well-visible crossing of the streets Rue du Trône and Rue Caroly, was acquired for the lately launched real estate fund apoReal International.

Previously, the building belonged to one of the real estate funds managed by J.P. Morgan Asset Management. The total investment costs amount to approx. €14 mln.

The distinctive property is located in the Quartier Léopold in direct vicinity to the green Square de Meeûs, one of the most expansive and best office locations in the EU-quarter of the capital of Europe.

The underground stop Trône as well as the train station at Place du Luxembourg are only a few steps away from the property. The European Parliament is close by to the newly acquired building.

The eight-story office building comprising 5,162 m² total lettable area and 57 parking spots was built in 1985 and partially renovated in 1995. Currently, the building is almost fully occupied by 12 different tenants.
