The authorities of the south western city of Wrocław have reached an agreement with the state-owned industrial service provider Dozamel and a local technology park operator, WPT, to set up a project called Wrocław Industrial Park.
The development, covering 130 ha of land, will be used to attract new investors to the city and will be operated by Dozamel. It will be located on the sites of large industrial companies, including the rolling stock manufacturer Pafawag and the industrial machinery maker Archimedes.
The city of Wrocław will invest PLN 10 mln of its own funds into creating infrastructure for the park, as well as submitting an application for a further PLN 50 mln from European coffers.
