AFI Europe has signed a seven-year lease contract with Microchip Technology Inc., a leading US IT company, for a 2,500 m² space in the first out of five class-A office buildings at AFI Business Park Cotroceni.
Microchip Technology is the first tenant to sign a lease agreement in AFI Business Park Cotroceni out of a long list of mostly IT companies with whom AFI Europe is currently negotiating. Additional contracts of 4,000 m² are being negotiated for the first office building 'AFI Business Park 1' and another 6,000 m² has already been negotiated for the second building.
Microchip Technology is an American company, listed on the NASDAQ stock market, specialized in microcontrollers and analog semiconductors production.
IT companies like Microchip Technology are very active in the leasing requirements after having seized the potential AFI Business Park Cotroceni has to accommodate to their growth needs.
The ability of companies to expand and to accommodate their growth needs within AFI Business Park Cotroceni is the leading reason for the IT companies to move to the park.
