ACTEEUM Group signs up with Teknosa electronics chain for shopping center projects in Turkey (TR)

ACTEEUM Group has entered into agreements with Teknosa, the leading Turkish electronics chain, member of Sabancý Holding A.Þ. for five of its shopping center projects: Ancora Istanbul, Ancora Samsun, Ancora Kahramanmaraþ, Ancora Þanlýurfa and Ancora Tokat.

The cooperation encompasses in total 8,615 m² and underlines the excellent Ancora sites as well as the continuing expansion strategy of Teknosa. The projects are planned to be opened in 2010-2012.

The Ancora Istanbul shopping center with a leasable area of 105,000 m², will be developed on a site facing the Göztepe E-5 Highway in the middle of the strong catchment area of Istanbul's Asian side. Ancora Istanbul will not only be the region's biggest retail project but also the new upscale leisure and entertainment center.

Teknosa, the largest local electronics chain of Turkey, has signed the leasing agreement for a total of 1,605 m² in Ancora Istanbul. The center will be opened in 2012.

Ancora Samsun, the shopping center project with a total leasable area of 63,000 m² will also feature a five-star Hotel and Congress Hall. It will be the largest shopping center of Samsun as well as of the Black Sea Region with an eye catching design on a centrally-located site with excellent visibility and accessibility on the Black Sea Coast Highway.

The leasing process is progressing very positively and the center is planned to open in 2010. Teknosa has signed a lease agreement for a total of 2,620 m², Samsun's largest electronic store.

Ancora Kahramanmaraþ is the city's largest shopping center project with a leasable area of 58,000 m². With its central location and modern architecture, Ancora Kahramanmaraþ will become the new meeting point in the region. Teknosa has entered into a lease agreement involving 1,540 m² representing the city's first and biggest electronics store. Ancora Kahramanmaraþ is planned to open in 2010.

Ancora Þanlýurfa is the city's largest, modern shopping center project with a leasable area of 60,000 m². With its contemporary silhouette it will meld in the city's historic texture in a convenient central location. Teknosa will lease 1,565 m² in Ancora Þanlýurfa, that will open in 2010.

Ancora Tokat is the city's first and only shopping center, having a leasable area of 25,000 m². Opening in 2010, the project incorporates a 1,285-m² Teknosa electronics store.
