Acquisition of shopping centre in Gdańsk (DE/PL)

DB Real Estate Spezial Invest GmbH on behalf of the special funds Eurocore III has acquired Alfa Centrum shopping centre located in Gdańsk. Alfa Centrum was developed and sold by Polish developer JWK Invest S.A. The shopping centre, opened in 2002, comprises 20,330 m² of lettable space and is anchored by H&M, Bomi supermarket, Empik, Smyk and Kinoplex (Polish cinema operator).

In this acquisition DB Real Estate was assisted by Polish Capital Markets team of Jones Lang LaSalle. Damian Stężycki at Jones Lang LaSalle commented: We are proud to confirm that the Alfa shopping centre has been acquired by DB Real Estate. With the restricted retail product availability throughout the region and strong competition we are very glad that we managed to help our client to acquire this property. I believe that the new owner secured good quality property with well balanced tenant mix in established retail destination.
