The board of PGGM has appointed Mr. Jean M.G. Frijns as advising member of the executive committee Investments of PGGM per July 1, 2005. Mr. Frijns will be director of investments of ABP until April 1, 2005 after which he will take early retirement.
Frijns is succeeding Wiet H.M. Pot as advising member. Pot wants to dedicate himself fully to Kempen & Co where he is chairman of the board.
The appointment of Frijns is striking as his successor at ABP is Roderick Munsters who comes from PGGM.
