Aberdeens Swedish fund raises SEK 200 m in first closing (SE)

Aberdeen Property Investors has raised SEK 200 million in the first closing of its Swedish property fund, providing the fund with SEK 500 million to invest in Swedish real estate with a balanced and well-diversified portfolio strategy.

Aberdeen Property Fund Sweden has a balanced, well-diversified actively managed profile, and is structured as an open fund with the objective of achieving a volume of SEK 2 - 5 bn of total assets over time through regular new issues. This fund is targeted at Swedish and international investors that want the benefits of effective diversification and active management of their real estate exposure.

Aberdeen Property Fund Sweden is the latest in a series of real estate investment products launched by Aberdeen. Its return target is to outperform the SFI/IPDs (Swedish property index) annual total return on standing investments by adopting an efficient allocation strategy (core plus) combined with the active management and careful selection of investment targets.
