Aberdeen Property Investors lets logistics distribution centre to Tommy Hilfiger Europe BV

Aberdeen Property Investors Continental Europe B.V. (APICE) has let a 25,000 m² logistics distribution centre in Venlo, the Netherlands, to Tommy Hilfiger Europe BV, on behalf of the Swedish pension insurance company Alecta pensionsförsäkring, ömsesidigt (Alecta). This transaction, the largest APICE letting in Continental Europe this year, was realised in co-operation with broker DTZ-Zadelhof Eindhoven.

Alecta is one of five asset management clients of APICE.

As fund manager of C€LOGIX Property Fund, APICE has much experience in obtaining logistics real estate. C€LOGIX Property Fund invests exclusively in logistics distribution centres at strategic locations in the Netherlands, Germany, France, Spain and Belgium. The fund now has € 252 million in 17 logistics properties (424,271 m²) in four European countries. The target is to expand the portfolio to € 400 million before Q1 2004. Due to this target the fund is open for new investors. Currently eleven Dutch and two Scandinavian investors are participating in C€LOGIX.
