Aberdeen Property Fund Denmark attracts more foreign investment (DK)

Aberdeens Danish property fund (API Property Fund Denmark P/S) has announced that it has received an additional investment of DKK 198.6 million (€26.5 million) from three investors, including a major global fund manager who has invested through its European fund-of-funds.

Aberdeen has recently experienced very positive interest from a number of foreign investors wishing to include Danish properties in their international portfolio. With the latest capital increase foreign investors represent approximately 40% of the funds shareholders.

Tonny Nielsen, Managing Director of Aberdeen Property Investors Denmark commented:
This investment shows the positive sentiment towards investment in Danish property which is expected to perform better than other European countries this year. As a result, we will continue to see an attractive pricing of Danish properties.

As well as the new foreign investor, two existing investors have placed further capital in our property fund. We regard this as a sign that our investors are pleased with how we manage their invested capital, and this brings us one step closer to achieving our goal of being the preferred manager of property investments in Denmark.

The capital increase brings the total equity of API Property Fund Denmark P/S to approx. DKK 900 million (€120 million).
