Aberdeen Property Fund Denmark acquires five properties and raises further capital (DK)

Aberdeen Property Fund Denmark has acquired five commercial properties in Ballerup, Copenhagen. The total size of the properties is equivalent to 44,500 m².

Tonny Nielsen, Managing Director of Aberdeen Property Investors Denmark A/S said:

"The Ballerup area is currently undergoing significant development and we are therefore confident that our investment in these commercial properties in the office and logistics sectors will add to the value of the fund. Aberdeen anticipates further commercial property acquisitions following strong demand for the fund from Danish and international investors."

Aberdeen Property Fund Denmark is also pleased to announce that it has raised an additional €20 million as at 30 June 2006. The additional investment was made by a new investor, the Danish Pension Fund for Lawyers and Economists (JØP) and two existing investors. The fund now has over €300 million under management.
