On behalf of the open-ended special fund, Aareal Nordic Fund, Aareal Immobilien-KAG has bought a shopping center in Finland. Seller is the Finnish based real estate investment company Querenchia.
The newly acquired Grani Shopping Centre is located 15 km west of Helsinki in the city of Kauniainen. Grani was opened in March 2001 and is situated in the city centre of Kauniainen. The GLA of Grani is approximately 5,500 m².
Anchor tenants are the well-known Finnish chains "Sesto Grocery Store" and "Alko Alcoholic Beverages Store". The Grani Shopping Centre is fully let to about 30 different tenants in total.
