Aareal Asset Management GmbH, on behalf of the Aareal EuroLogistics Fund, has acquired two important logistics facilities in the Netherlands. In the first acquisition for the Fund in the Netherlands, a superregional distribution centre in Eindhoven was acquired with the benefit of a long lease with TNT Logistics BV.

The 50,000 m² state-of-the-art warehouse, which was developed in 2001, is located in the logistics park "Eindhoven Acht" immediately adjacent to the A2 autobahn between Eindhoven and the Eindhoven airport. The second acquisition is the development of a warehouse in the well-known logistics park "Trade Park West" in Venlo. The 12,000 m² pre-let warehouse will be developed by Habru Projecten BV. Practical completion is scheduled for
January 2007. Trade Park West is located next to the autobahn intersection of the A73 (Nijmegen Cologne) and the A67 (Antwerp Duisburg). Venlo and Eindhoven are amongst the largest and most important logistic locations in the Netherlands. driven by the expansion of the European Union. The €660 mln fund targets core Eurozone markets including Italy, France and the Benelux. Germany as the central hub of distribution corridors has a higher priority. Currently the AELF has invested almost €400 mln in the various countries.
