Tech Data Polska, owned by one of the world's largest IT distributors, offers a broad portfolio of products of leading manufacturers in Poland, as well as provides logistic and financial services, related to distribution, marketing support, pre-sales & post-sales, and training. In the Warsaw satellite town Swiecice, Tech Data Polska will occupy the total newly developed space of 17,000 m² which will serve as its warehouse.

"Panattoni Park Swiecice is Panattoni Europe's youngest project which, thanks to its strategic location, has been fully leased," said Robert Dobrzycki, Managing Partner for Central and Eastern Europe, Panattoni Europe, adding: "In the vicinity of Warsaw, along the exit route towards Poznañ (E30), we have developed many parks. They are in places like Ozarow, Pruszkow, Blonie or Teresin. Following completion of pending projects, Panattoni will have over 280,000 m² of modern warehouse space in this region."

"Tech Data needs a modern, well-located warehouse to secure its development plans in Poland. I am convinced that the state-of-the-art facility in Swiecice will serve us well. The motorway infrastructure being built in the direct vicinity will make it possible to accelerate our service to our customers from around Poland," said Marek Szarras, Managing Director, Tech Data Polska.

"This is the biggest lease transaction concluded by the Industrial and Warehouse Space Department of Cushman & Wakefield in Poland in Q1 of 2011. The Warsaw region remains the most appealing location for tenants. Last year, every third transaction in warehouse space leases in the country was in the Warsaw region," said Kamila Pruk from Cushman & Wakefield.

Panattoni Park Swiecice will comprise two buildings with the total space of 33,700 m². The first building is a BTS facility (more than 16,700 m²) and is being developed for a client from the food industry. Ground works started already in October 2010. Development on building two is set to start this April. Panattoni Park Swiecice lies in the Warsaw West poviat, Ozarow Mazowiecki commune, less than 19 km from the capital's city center, at national road no 2 (E30). The planned junction with the A2 motorway places this investment in a strategic location.
