During the first semester of 2004, Aguirre Newman Architecture has assumed the accomplishment of 82 projects in its different lines of activity - projects of design and execution of corporate and commercial assets, projects of engineering and project management-, that add a surface of 250,000 square meters.
The number has increased with 17% compared to the first semester of the previous fiscal year, and the surface has increased with 28,2%. At the end of the 2004, Aguirre Newman Architecture expects to overcome 400,000 square meters of projects foreseen for 2004.
Between the works developed by the company during the first semester of 2004, stands out, in Madrid, Travelodge, for Hotels Express; the rehabilitation of the College of Land Registers; the project management for a promotion of 85 housings in the village of Pinto; the new Royal Bank of Scotland’s offices, and the new Rodamco España´s headquarters. In Barcelona, Aguirre Newman Architecture will take charge of the new headquarter for the Catalonian newspaper La Vanguardia.
