4,620 m² of lettings in the Chartres and Lyon-Vénissieux Eiffel business parks (FR)

Société de la Tour Eiffel has signed an 18-year closed lease in its Chartres mixed use business park with the SCAEL (local agricultural cooperative) for 3,000 m² of office and warehouse space.

This transaction in the recently completed development, which occupies a pioneering position in the heart of Cosmetic Valley close to the A11 motorway and comprises two 5,700 m² buildings, pushes the occupation rate to over 52%.

This long-term letting to a major local organisation is exceptionally pleasing and confirms the overall quality of our Chartres business park and its attraction to businesses and administrations alike. Success such as this not only demonstrates our ability to anticipate and provide for user requirements but also impacts the physical and financial occupation rates of the portfolio which are at record level of 92% and 90% respectively, remarks Frédéric Maman, Deputy managing director of Société de la Tour Eiffel.

Elsewhere, the Parc du Moulin à Vent, Lyon-Vénissieux, also continues to be sought after in the local business community. Following the September inauguration of SPIE's built-to-suit headquarters for the south-east of France, two new 6/9-year leases have been signed with Eretel and Elres (Elior group) for the total 1,620 m² of renovated space recently vacated by SPIE demonstrating the company's ability to achieve a rapid turn around in its business parks space.
