Zebra Tower, an office building located at Rondo Jazdy Polskiej in Warsaw will be the first office project in Warsaw to obtain a LEED certificate (The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design). Jones Lang LaSalle, international real estate advisors, have been chosen to provide the investors - S+B Gruppe - with certification and management advice in securing LEED certificate for Zebra Tower.

Pawe³ Warda, Head of Project & Development Services at Jones Lang LaSalle, supervising the process, comments: "We are very pleased we can support our client with our expertise and experience in field of sustainability and in particular management of LEED certification process. This will be first in Warsaw - and most likely the first in Poland – office development certified within LEED system. We are proud that jointly with S+B Gruppe, we can set a standard for future commercial developments in Poland."

Izabella Kieler, Head of Leasing & Marketing Manager at S+B Gruppe emphasises: „Sustainability and ecology issues become more and more crucial in today's world, not as interim trend, but as a long term attitude. We, as modern and socially responsible developer, take those aspects info consideration and therefore adapt our building to the highest standards including the 'green' ones. The LEED certification will confirm that Zebra Tower is equipped with the most advanced technology in order to provide tenants with friendly working environment."

LEED is the most recognised sustainability certificate for real estate internationally. The key benefits of LEED accreditation for a building include lower operation costs and improved marketability. By adopting a LEED approach in the design, construction and management of buildings, the energy and resource consumption can be reduced.
