XXL Sports & Outdoor to move into new retail center in Suomenoja, Espoo (FI)

XXL Sports & Outdoor will be the main operator in Julius Tallberg Real Estate’s new retail center in Suomenoja, Espoo. The Suomalaistentie Retail Centre will be developed by YIT Construction Ltd. and be ready in the spring of 2015.


The value of the lease contract is approximately €16 million. The total area of the retail center is approximately 8,200 m², of which XXL will occupy more than 4,000 m²


XXL is an international sports and recreation chain that is currently expanding into Norway, Sweden and now also Finland. In addition to XXL, the new retail center will house other recreation shops as well as restaurants.


Catella has advised Julius Tallberg Real Estate and YIT in the transaction.
