Westdeutsche ImmobilienBank appoints Peter Schott as new head of Securitisation business unit (DE)

Peter Schott Ghyssaert Aceves (41) is to head up the new Securitisation business unit of Westdeutsche ImmobilienBank AG (WIB) with effect from January 1, 2008. His new role will carry responsibility for the execution and marketing of capital market transactions such as Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities (CMBS) and the development and enhancement of innovative exit strategies.

Schott is moving from Aareal Bank AG, where he headed the Credit Treasury department for seven years and was responsible for all national and international securitization transactions. His duties also included the bank's European and intercontinental syndication activities, the marketing of partial portfolios aimed at optimizing the loan book and the structuring and marketing of credit derivatives within the scope of capital market transactions.

Prior to that he spent five years in the Global Finance department of Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein in Luxembourg and New York.

WIB is a fully-owned subsidiary of WestLB AG and the Centre of Competence for real estate financing in the WestLB group. It currently has a staff of about 500 and total assets of about EUR 23 billion.
