WDP Warehouses de Pauw will extend its portfolio with the purchase of a 50,000-m² site, strategically located in Venlo, the #1 logistics hotspot in the Netherlands.
Due to a restructure of its activities, Cable manufacturer Belden Wire & Cable, which is located on the site, will decrease its occupied surface from 120,000 m² to 70,000 m². WDP has acquired the space that is now becoming available.
WDP will redevelop the site into a new 28,000-m² logistics center. Start of the foundation works is scheduled for the beginning of March 2008. Completion of the logistics center is scheduled for the end of 2008.
