Wainbridge appoints former Credit Suisse European Director as CFO (UK)

Wainbridge Limited, the property investment, development and asset management firm, announces the appointment of Graham Langlay-Smith as Chief Financial Officer.

Langlay-Smith, who has over 18 years of experience in the real estate industry, joins Wainbridge from Credit Suisse, where he was a Director of the European team of DLJ Real Estate Capital Partners, a global real estate opportunity fund management business which raised four funds with combined equity commitments of approximately US $4 billion.

During his nine years with Credit Suisse/DLJ Real Estate Capital Partners, Langlay-Smith held a range of responsibilities including transactions, asset management and acting as regional COO/CFO. Prior to Credit Suisse, he was CFO and a Member of the Investment Committee of TrizecHahn Europe, a pan-European real estate developer.

Earlier in his career, Langlay-Smith held senior financial control positions at Dresdner Kleinwort Benson and HSBC. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Corporate Treasurer.
