Valad, the European multi-let real estate investment manager, announces that it has let 8,460 m² at Otto-Hahn-Strasse 36, Lohfelden, near Kassel, to the discount furniture supplier, Poco Domäne Holding GmbH. The lease was completed on behalf of Valad's V+ Germany fund.
Situated to the south east of Kassel and next to the strategically important Autobahn BAB 7 transport route that bisects Germany, Otto-Hahn-Strasse 36 is a 18,271-m² mixed-use industrial building with excellent transport links to the rest of Germany.
Danilo Hunker, Valad's Head of Asset Management in Germany, commented: "Valad is pleased to welcome Poco Domäne Holding to Lohfelden. Otto-Hahn-Straße 36 is an extremely flexible building that can be easily adapted to suit tenant needs. We look forward to building on this success with further lettings on the remaining space."
Valad has a team of 30 in Germany, operating out of offices in Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Berlin and Munich, who manage approximately 1 billion of assets and 800 tenants, on behalf of four of Valad's 15 funds.
