Valad Europe lets more than 3,000 m² of offices in Dutch Landmark Portfolio (NL)

Valad Europe, the leading diversified real estate investment manager, has let 3,025 m² of office space in three separate lettings on assets in the Landmark Portfolio.
At Pikeursbaan 15 – 23 in Deventer, the social housing foundation, Woonstichting Rentree, signed a new 10 year lease on 750 m² of space. The building is located in the centre of Deventer, close to the main highway connecting Amsterdam with Germany.
At Einsteindreef 125–127, in Utrecht, the bailiff company, Groenwegen en Partners Gerechtsdeurwaarders, renewed a lease on 1,369 m² of office space. Located next to the Utrecht ring road, the 9,021 m² office building is currently let to five tenants including INC Research Netherlands BV.
At Stationsplein 9, Gouda, Waarborg Platina Goud Zilver N.V. renewed a lease on 906 m² of office space. Totalling 4,376 m², the building comprises four floors and is currently let to nine tenants.
All the assets are in the Landmark Portfolio which Valad Europe was appointed to manage in May 2013. Since being appointed, Valad has completed a number of asset management initiatives including several lettings, and also traded the L.J. Zielstraweg 2 office building in Groningen. The original Landmark Portfolio comprised 13 office assets, located predominantly in the Ranstad area, including an 8,000 m² asset in the Zuidoost district of Amsterdam.
Richard den Hartigh, Valad Europe’s Head of Asset Management for the Benelux region, commented: “This new letting and two lease renewals are typical of how we are creating value in the Landmark Portfolio. Our focus is on developing the existing tenant customer relationships, finding new tenants for the vacant units and repositioning assets in order to improve income and capital values across the portfolio.”
