Unique retail concept in the heart of Moscow (RU)

Podium Market – the new concept department store by PODIUM company - is to be opened at the end of August 2011. A lease agreement for a 10-year period was signed with the landlord OJSC 'DekMos' in July.

The new shop with a total area of 6,600 m² will occupy two levels – on the second and third floors of Shopping Gallery of Moscow Hotel, situated on Okhotniy Rayd Street, 2. Cushman & Wakefield represented the landlord – OJSC 'DekMos'.

PODIUM is one of the leading luxury retail chains in Russia. Within the 24 stores that the company operates there are such stores as their flagship store at Novinski Bulvar, multibrand boutique in Kuznetskiy Most, discount centers 'Fabrika Modi', chain of accessories stores 'Pop Corner' and a chain of jewelry shops 'Shkatulka'.

"Our project at Shopping Gallery of Moscow Hotel will be a combination of the best features – premium brands, size and location in very heart of Moscow. Many brands will be ordered and delivered to Moscow especially for Podium Market," comments Alena Ermakova, Head of Advertising and PR Department at PODIUM.

The Shopping Gallery of Moscow Hotel is the retail element of the multifunctional complex with Four Seasons hotel, which is planned to be opened in the nearest future in the reconstructed building of former Hotel Moscow in close proximity to the Kremlin and Red Square. The retail space of 21,000 m² occupies three floors. Over 50% of the shopping gallery is leased by tenants.
