Two new properties acquired by Portico Investments in Poland, Silesian region (PL)

In addition to a recent Racibórz Retail Park acquisition in October 2012, Portico Investments- a leading CEE real estate investor and developer - has successfully concluded the purchase of two units in Zabrze and Czechowice- Dziedzice in Poland.

These units were part of the Eagle portfolio which was purchased by Balmain Asset Management in 2006. They are located in the well-developed Silesian region and both benefit from long term leases to Biedronka, Rossmann, Textil Market and ING Bank. With the new tenants, Portico has expanded its partner network to more than a 100.

'Portico Investments continues the present pace of acquisitions and is currently carrying out due diligence on a number of additional projects, so in 2012 we are expecting further closings'. - says Robert Hermán, Acquisitions and Investments Director in Portico.

Focusing mainly on food-anchored real estate, with over 200,000 m2 of assets under management, Portico Investments has got 11 assets in Poland. Its portfolio includes over 60 properties across CEE and is still extending. In 2012 the Company has acquired 6 acquisitions in Poland, Hungary and Romania.
