Triuva has acquired a retail and office property of around 8,500m². The seller of the property is Real I.S. in Munich for the Bayernfonds Berlin Hofgarten.

The premium investment is located in the Friedrichstraße, a prime area in Berlin. The Swedish clothing retail company H&M is the anchor tenant of the building. The property, which was constructed in 1996, was designed by the internationally renowned architecture firm Kollhoff Architekten as part of the ensemble “Hofgarten am Gendarmenmarkt”.

“Around €500m of our acquisitions were made on the German market. Berlin, currently the most dynamic domestic real estate market, is our priority for further purchases,” adds Manuel DeVigili, Head of Investment Management at Triuva. “Demand for office and retail properties remains high – especially in top locations like Friedrichstrasse.”

Triuva received legal advice on the transaction from the Frankfurt law firm GSK Stockmann + Kollegen. Technical consulting was provided by URS Deutschland. Savills Immobilien Beratungs assisted Real I.S. as part of an exclusive sales mandate. The seller was provided with legal advice by the law firm Heussen Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft.
