The mfi joint venture has received the leasing and center management orders for the Kayseri Meysu Outlet in Kayseri (20,000 m² GLA), the Mohini Center in Istanbul (3,007 m² GLA) and the Nil Park in Bursa (16,600 m² GLA).

The company is currently negotiating with owners and developers on the takeover of the responsibility for other centers. Interest in the company's own leasing and management services comes as no surprise to the shopping center specialists.

"In recent years there has been a real gold-rush mood on the Turkish shopping center market," explains Andreas Bröskamp, Head of Project Development at mfi International.

"Too many shopping centers were opened at poor locations and not managed professionally. In times of crisis these failings become very evident. The owners are now increasingly demanding professional shopping center service providers such as avm mfi partners."

At present, the company has received orders for the leasing of 12 shopping centers in Turkey and five properties are managed by the company, including the Palladium Shopping Center and the 212 Power Outlet Center (both in Istanbul).

avm mfi partners has just completed the leasing of the Anatolium Shopping Center in Bursa: With 84,000 m² GLA and 165 stores, this mall is the largest shopping center in Bursa.
