The Supervisory Board of IVG Immobilien AG resolved to appoint Dr. Wolfhard Leichnitz as a member of the Management Board with effect from 1 June 2006 and as Chairman of the Management Board of IVG Immobilien AG with effect from 1 July 2006. The long-standing Chairman of the Management Board, Dr. Eckart John von Freyend was asked to contribute his political and entrepreneurial experience to the work of the Supervisory Board in future.
In Dr. Wolfhard Leichnitz, an experienced manager and real estate
specialist, has been won for the positive further development of the
company. Dr. Leichnitz was a member of the Executive Board of HOCHTIEF AG for 8 years and most recently Chairman of the Management Board of Viterra AG.
The long-standing Chairman of the Management Board, Dr. Eckart John von Freyend, has played a key role in developing what was formerly a national conglomerate into a successful European real estate company in his 11 years in office. The Supervisory Board asked Dr. John von Freyend to contribute his political and entrepreneurial experience to the work of the Supervisory Board in future.
Dr. Bernd Kottmann, who has been the member of the Management Board
responsible for IVG's portfolio management since 01.07.2001, is to be appointed as Deputy Chairman as of 01.07.2006. The deputy member of the Management Board Dr. Georg Reul, who is responsible for the IVG Funds area will become an ordinary member of the Management Board at the same time. The finance area remains in the tried and trusted hands of Dr. Dirk Matthey.
