Timo Tschammler, 35, EBS graduate of business economics, FRICS and MSc, and current Chairman of the Management Board of DTZ Deutschland is to join Jones Lang LaSalle.
Tschammler will join as Managing Director and Member of the Management Board of Jones Lang LaSalle Germany with effect from October 1, 2012. He will be responsible for the Office Investment and Leasing and Industrial Investment and Leasing divisions, which are currently led by Dr Frank Pörschke, Jones Lang LaSalle CEO German Operations, on a temporary basis.
Tschammler's professional career in the world of real estate ranges from years of learning with Deutsche Bank to BNP Paribas Real Estate Frankfurt and Paris and most recently more than six years with DTZ in various management and board positions in London and Frankfurt.
Commenting on Tschammler's appointment Frank Pörschke said: "Timo Tschammler is a thoroughbred real estate professional. He has learned the real estate business from scratch and is a manager of international expertise. Personally, I am very much looking forward to our co-operation and I am positive that our Markets business in Germany will gain even more momentum with Timo Tschammler as head of an already well-established team. "
Jörg Ritter, also Managing Director and Member of the Management Board of Jones Lang LaSalle Germany, will continue to be responsible for the Retail Investment and Leasing division. Both managers will report to Frank Pörschke.
