Property developer TCN Spain has signed the purchase of Les Mates, a 10,000-m² retail & leisure park in El Vendrell. The center is located adjacent to the N340, the regional road which connects Barcelona with Tarragona. The purchase is in line with TCN Spain's objective of acquiring existing retail parks in need for extra management attention.
The anchor tenants of the center, which currently consists of 20 units, are Aldi and Oscar. Future plans consist of extra big-box retailing on the first floor, a do-it-yourself on the ground floor and a fast food restaurant/ drive-through on the parking lot.
TCN Spain's goal is to redevelop Les Mates into a fully let Retail Park of maximum 15.000 m
