The first section should be ready for occupancy in October 2012, with final completion due at the end of this year. Almost 75% of the Loftwerk building is already let.

The office ensemble is made up of a U-shaped and an I-shaped section and has a total rental area of 14,700 m². Future tenants include St. Jude Medical, a company involved in medical equipment technology (around 3,920 m²), and the human resources service provider, Randstad (approx. 1,740 m²).

In addition ConCardis, a service company in the area of cash-free payment transactions, has secured around 4,700 m². The office ensemble is being designed with loft elements, such as the characteristic lattice windows. Loftwerk has received Silver pre-certification from the German Sustainable Building Council.

With Helfmann Park HOCHTIEF Projektentwicklung is creating an entire office development: Four new buildings have been completed, fully let and sold to date. An existing hotel has been integrated into the complex. The concept foresees a total of five office properties and a combined office-hotel property, standing on a landscaped avenue. Following Loftwerk, the overall development will be completed to plan with the Quadron office building.
