The city
Forum Aydın is located in the city of Aydın, the largest city in the Aegean Region of Turkey with a population of approximately 300,000 people. Nazilli district, which is 30 km from the city center, is the second biggest town with a population of 200,000 people in its region. Aydın has great economical potential through tourism, agriculture and industry.
It is well accessible through its geographical position and has a young and well-qualified population. Approximately 900,000 foreign tourists visit Aydın per year, especially the Kuşadası and Didim districts. Forum Aydin is close to the busiest trade area, Adnan Menderes Boulevard, and to the Adnan Menderes University, one of the largest universities in the region with 30,000 students including seasonal students.
The project
Forum Aydın is located on the Denizli–Aydın highway, next to the former Aydın Textile Factory. The center has good visibility and direct access from the highway. Forum Aydın is the largest shopping center in the city. The center is developed on a plot of 76,000 m² and has 30,000 m² leasable area.
The open-air scheme is anchored by a Tesco Kipa hypermarket, a 7-screen cinema of Mars the Cinema Professionals, a YKM department store as well as stores of LC Waikiki, Mudo, Koton, TeknoSA, D&R, Adidas, Burger King, Deichmann, Divarese, Nike, Pierre Cardin, Popeyes, Sbarro, US Polo and Yves Rocher. Forum Aydın includes 120 shops of various national and international brands, restaurants and cafés. There are 800 parking places.
A vibrant lifestyle centre reminiscent of an authentic street
Forum Aydın’s concept was inspired by the local architectural elements. The center resembles an Aegean village with its terraces, squares, streets, wooden pergolas and marquis. It offers many architectural surprises at every corner. The streets and squares feature beautiful paving, terraces, balconies, lush greenery with trees of the region, and sunshades. Forum Aydın offers sustainable public space and enhances Aydın’s community life.

Forum Aydın will be an essential element for the city’s economic life and prosperity. 4,000 people were employed during the construction period. In addition to that, job opportunities for 1,500 people are created after opening. Given its scale, investment value, employment opportunities, location and shop mix, Forum Aydın will be a real boost for Aydın’s retail potential,” he added.
