Stelios moves towards Easy offices (UK)

Entrepreneur and Easy Group founder Stelios Haji-Ioannou is to extend his Easy brand into the serviced office sector. He has teamed up with Rob Hamilton's Instant Offices Group to form a partnership providing serviced office space.

The first branded EasyOffice will open in High Street Kensington, west London, in August. EasyOffice will target entrepreneurs and start-up businesses, who will book and pay online for a week at a time. Occupying the space for weeks or months at a time is permitted, but will be on a first come, first served basis like a hotel. It will be booked at the Easyoffice website. If successful, Haji-Ioannou plans to extend the concept to his internet cafes in Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Haji-Ioannou told Property Week: 'This is about a booking engine and an efficient way of distributing space. Occupiers will have the ability to book Workspace on the web as if it was a hotel room, which is why I think the concept is unique.'

Customers whose needs cannot be met by the Easy Office package are directed to the search engine provided by Instant Offices on the Easyoffice website, which will then try and find suitable services office space for the client.

Instant Offices was founded by Hamilton in 1999 and is a brokerage for serviced office space around the globe.
